The program will offer incentives, such extra reimbursement of medical expenses, for women who participate in the program, and the incentives will be higher for women who join the program sooner rather than later, according to CIGNA.
The program will provide extra education and screenings for women who appear to be at low risk for developing complications; monthly outreach for women at a moderate risk for developing complications; and regular consultations with nurses and help with complying with provider treatment recommendations for women believed to be at a high risk for developing complications.
