The Council for Affordable Quality Health care has named Harry Reynolds to be chair of the steering committee for the group’s Committee on Operating Rules for Information Exchange.
CAQH, Washington, is a coalition of health insurers and provider network companies that is trying to simplify health plan administration. It formed the information exchange committee, commonly known as CORE, in January 2005 in an effort to help doctors and other health care providers use electronic systems to get insurance eligibility and benefits information.
