Trustmark Mutual Holding company is merging the sales and client management operations of its group insurance unit with those of its CoreSource benefits administration unit.[@@]

The group insurance unit at Trustmark, Lake Forest, Ill., has been selling health insurance, disability insurance and related products to employers with 51 to 500 employees.

CoreSource, a benefits administrator, has been designing benefit plans for employers that self-insure.

The new realignment will put the sales and client staffs of the Trustmark group insurance unit and CoreSource under the control of 3 regional managers.

Jerry Castelloe, a CoreSource veteran, will run the Eastern region, and Rick Kaplan, a Trustmark manager, will run the Central region.

Dan Eddleman, a CoreSource manager, will lead the Western region.
