High-Level Political Player Joins Platinum Board

NEW YORK (HedgeWorld.com)–Robert Keefe, a long-time adviser to U.S. politicians, including presidential candidates, senators and congressmen, governors and mayors, is becoming a member of London-based Platinum Capital Management’s global advisory board.

Mr. Keefe is a veteran Democrat and the chairman of TKC International Inc., a Washington lobbying, public affairs and communications firm. He is a former executive director of the Democratic National Committee and was consultant to the U.S. ambassador to Japan, Robert Strauss, during the Tokyo Round of GATT negotiations.

Platinum Capital Management Chairman Peter Sprecher said in a statement that Mr. Keefe’s extensive political background, business experience and contacts already have proved very valuable to the continuing international development of the business.
