Blues Join Debit Card Game

The group, the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, Chicago, says its board has approved the use of “Blue-branded” debit cards for use with flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, health reimbursement arrangements and other benefit accounts.

Individual plans can make their own debit card arrangements with banks and payment network companies.
