Eldorado Computing Inc., Phoenix, a company that processes health claims, has announced an alliance with MultiPlan Inc., New York.[@@]
The deal gives health plans that use Eldorado processing services access to discounts from doctors and hospitals that belong to MultiPlan provider networks but happen to be outside the plans’ own provider networks.
The deal also increases the odds that Eldorado and its health plan clients can use automated systems to process out-of-network claims, Eldorado says.
The MultiPlan network markets the services of 4,200 hospitals and more than 660,000 medical practices.
