NEW YORK (HedgeWorld.com)–Fixed-income manager Group G Capital Partners LLC hired two new credit analysts, Karen Roth and Steve Lowe, and relocated to New York from San Francisco.

Previously Ms. Roth was vice president, corporate bond analyst, at Emigrant Savings Bank in New York. She was named senior credit analyst at Group G. Mr. Lowe, named credit analyst, formerly was a research associate at Palm Harbor Capital Management, a long/short equity hedge fund based in San Francisco.

Group G chairman Geoffrey Gwin said in a statement that moving to New York affords a number of advantages, including the ability to tap into the best fixed-income talent pool as the organization expands.

The firm, founded in 2003, has a market-neutral high-yield strategy, with a focus on research (see ).
