DARIEN, Conn. (HedgeWorld.com)–Tim Barron, former director of research at investment consultant CRA RogersCasey Inc., has been named president and chief executive of the firm.
Mr. Barron replaces Kevin R. Greene, who left the firm to pursue other business opportunities, according to a statement from CRA RogersCasey. CRA RogersCasey officials did not return a phone call by press time seeking more information on Mr. Greene’s departure.
In a statement, Mr. Barron praised Mr. Greene’s leadership and vision.
Mr. Greene said Mr. Barron is well suited to taking over leadership of CRA RogersCasey. “Over the years we have built a very powerful and market-leading investment consulting platform based on deep research capabilities to find world-class investment opportunities, the independence to be objective and the flexibility to meet our clients’ needs,” Mr. Greene said in a statement. “Tim’s diverse experiences make him an ideal match for this model.”
In addition to promoting Mr. Barron, CRA RogersCasey officials announced a number of other management changes. John Dixon was named senior managing director of the firm. His responsibilities will extend to management as well as consulting, according to a statement.
Joe O’Reilly, managing director in CRA RogersCasey’s Boston office, has been named chairman of a newly created Consulting Steering Committee.
