Nonprofit Benefits Association of Texas, San Antonio, is introducing a health plan for employees of nonprofit organizations.[@@]

Any Texas 501(c)(3) organization with at least 2 paid employees can join the association’s new TexasPlus program, the association says.

Southwest Business Corp., San Antonio, the broker that is organizing the nonprofit health program, will be providing a basic indemnity insurance plan, a dental and vision plan, and a package of supplemental insurance products.

The Kronkosky Charitable Foundation, San Antonio, helped set up the nonprofit health program as the result of the enactment of a new law that lets Texas employers team up to buy health coverage.
