June 16, 2004 — Strong Capital Management said Thomas Price, its director of corporate fixed income investments, began running the Strong Advisor Strategic Income Fund/A (SASAX) this week.

Ed Wojciechowski, who had managed the $26 million high-yield bond fund since March of 2002, continues with Strong as an equity analyst, a company spokesman said.

Price runs or helps manage several other Strong fixed-income funds, including two others that invest in junk bonds: Strong High Yield Bond Fund/Inv (STHYX), and Strong Short Term Hi Yld Bond Fund/Inv (STHBX).

The Advisor Strategic Income was up 1.5% this year through May, while the average low quality bond fund was off 0.3%. The Strong fund returned 18% for the year ended last month, compared to a 10.6% gain by its peers.
