Alternative Health Insurer Markets Directly To Michigan Employers

NU Online News Service, Nov. 10, 2003, 11:23 a.m. EST – American Specialty Health Insurance Company, a subsidiary of American Specialty Health Inc., San Diego, has started selling insured alternative health benefits programs directly to Michigan employers with at least 51 employees.

The programs include discounts and, in some cases, insurance coverage for services such as acupuncture and massage therapy. American Specialty also sells chiropractic benefits and a vitamin discount program.
