NU Online News Service, Oct. 23, 2003, 5:09 p.m. EDT – Magellan Health Services Inc., Columbia, Md., has named Anthony Kotin chief marketing officer.
The company also has rehired Jay Youell. Youell will be senior vice president of sales for health plan and insurance markets.
Magellan manages mental health care for one-quarter of all U.S. residents.
Kotin has been working as a human resources consultant. He also has been national chief medical officer for Prudential HealthCare, a managed care organization that was acquired by Aetna Inc., Hartford.
Youell was once Magellan’s vice president of sales for the insurance and health maintenance organization markets.
