American Specialty To Sell Alternative Benefits In Arizona

NU Online News Service, Oct. 9, 2003, 10:43 a.m. EST – American Specialty Health Insurance Company, a subsidiary of American Specialty Health Inc., San Diego, has started selling alternative health insurance benefits programs directly to Arizona employers.

The programs, available to employers with at least 51 employees, include discounts and, in some cases, insurance coverage for services such as acupuncture and massage therapy. American Specialty also sells chiropractic benefits and a vitamin discount program.

American Specialty is accredited by the American Accreditation Health Care Commission/URAC, Washington.
