Benefits Partners Gives Up PacAdvantage Administration

NU Online News Service, Aug. 26, 2003, 4:41 p.m. EDT – Organizers of Pacific Health Advantage, San Francisco, a nonprofit small business health insurance purchasing coalition, have agreed to acquire the health plan administrative services operations of Benefits Partners Inc., Roseville, Calif.

Benefits Partners has been handling enrollment and other tasks for the Pacific Health pool since 1998, but Benefits Partners executives say they now want the company to focus on developing software.

Pacific Health, also known as PacAdvantage, is an arm of the Pacific Business Group on Health, San Francisco.
