July 25, 2003 — Three portfolio managers are leaving Credit Suisse Asset Management.
Elizabeth Dater, who has been with the firm or its predecessors since 1978, “has decided to leave in order to spend more time on her other interests,” according to a company spokeswoman.
Portfolio managers Vincent McBride, Todd Jacobson and analyst Naimish Shah are also leaving Credit Suisse. McBride, the spokeswoman noted, is leaving CSAM to pursue “other opportunities.”
Dater and McBride will no longer co-manage the $50.8 million Credit Suisse Global Post Venture Capital/A (CPVAX). Robert Janis, Greg Norton-Kidd and Calvin Chung will continue to manage the fund.
McBride will no longer manage the $70.3 million Credit Suisse Global Technology Fund (CUTCX). David Lefkowitz continues as manager.
In addition, McBride and Todd Jacobson will no longer manage the $268.3 million Credit Suisse International Focus/A (CUIAX). Nancy Nierman, will continue as manager, along with Greg Norton-Kidd, Ann Budlong, Harry Jaffe, and Todor Petrov.
Dater will no longer continue as manager of the $1 million Credit Suisse Strategic Small-Cap Fund (CSWAX), nor the $395.1 million Credit Suisse Emerging Growth/Cmn (CUEGX). Roger Harris, Sammy Oh and Robert Janis will continue as co-managers on those portfolios.
