Jan. 10, 2003 — Hartford Funds said Alison Granger, who managed two of its bond portfolios, left the company to spend more time with her family.

Christine Mozonski, who had helped Granger oversee the $188-million Hartford High Yield Bond Fund/A (HAHAX) since 1994, remains on the fund. She has been joined by David Hillmeyer, who previously managed institutional fixed-income portfolios for Hartford Investment Management Co., which runs the Hartford funds.

Granger was succeeded on the $460-million Hartford Total Return Bond Fund/A (ITBAX) by Nasri Toutoungi, who joined Hartford Investment this month from Blackrock Inc., where he managed institutional fixed-income portfolios.

The management changes took effect on January 3.
