Web-Based System Tracks Continuing Ed Needs

NU Online News Service, Nov. 13, 4:05 p.m. – CT Insurance Services, New York, has introduced CE Central, a Web-based system for managing the insurance producer license renewal process and tracking insurance continuing education requirements and providers.

Continuing education administrators can use the system to store producer continuing education information, get automatic calculations of continuing education needs, and update producer continuing education status information electronically, CT Insurance says.

The continuing education administrator can also use the system to select, recommend and approve courses for producers. Once the administrator approves the courses, the system can automatically start the registration process.

CT Insurance is part of CCH-Legal Information Services, which in turn is part of Wolters Kluwer N.V., Amsterdam, a large publisher.
