Florida Department Organizing Electronic Filing Workshop

NU Online News Service, Sept. 9, 11:05 a.m. – The Florida Department of Insurance is trying to organize a training workshop for insurers that use its new I-File Internet-based rate, rule and form filing system.

The department is asking insurers to contact Marjorie Bertram, the official organizing the workshop, at [email protected] to tell her if they are interested in attending a workshop.

The Florida department began making the electronic filing system available to life and health insurers in July. The department plans to open the system to writers of personal automobile insurance this month and to writers of homeowners’ insurance in late October.
