NU Online News Service, July 17, 3:35 p.m. – PacifiCare Behavioral Health, Laguna Hills, Calif., a subsidiary of PacifiCare Health Systems Inc., has started a new health plan division that will sell behavioral health management services to health plans.
The company has named Dr. Steve Rockowitz, a licensed psychologist, to lead the new division. Rockowitz previously was director of clinical operations for PacifiCare’s Western Region.
The new division will sell complete behavioral health carve-out plans as well stand-alone care management systems and services, PacifiCare says.
