NU Online News Service, Dec. 17, 9:01 a.m. – Provident Bank, Cincinnati, announced that it has acquired The Benefits Department Inc., Cincinnati, to expand its insurance subsidiary, Provident Insurance Agency.
Benefits Department was established as a broker agency in 1982. It later focused on group health insurance, group disability insurance and other employee benefits for small and midsize companies.
All Benefits Department personnel will join the Provident agency, Provident says.
