Health Net Life Insurance Company Unveils Enhanced PPO Program

NU Online News Service, June 18, 3:05 p.m. ? Health Net Life Insurance Company, Woodland Hills. Calif., a subsidiary of Health Net of California, one of the state’s largest health plans, has launched a new program providing enhanced coverage for its preferred provider organization members needing care while traveling away from home, the company says.

The PPO Access Card Travel Program is now standard for all PPO policies, including employer-sponsored coverage and coverage for individuals, the company says.

The travel feature provides access to medical care and reduced out-of-pocket expenses from a network of PPO-participating doctors, hospitals, and pharmacies throughout the country, the company says.
