FPA Rolls Out Membership Program for Ameriprise-Affiliated Advisors
The program includes a group discount on FPA’s dues for Ameriprise’s network of independent advisor practices.
The Financial Planning Association announced Thursday the introduction of a national membership program to the some 8,000 financial advisors affiliated with Ameriprise Financial in its independent channel.
The program includes a group discount on FPA’s dues for Ameriprise’s network of independent advisor practices. In addition, Ameriprise will actively promote the offering, the announcement said, and provide an automatic FPA dues payroll deduction for its affiliated advisors to facilitate their joining and renewing with the association.
“Together with Ameriprise, we can further support the development of Ameriprise advisors with financial planning education, business support and important networking through our national network of local FPA chapters,” Patrick Mahoney, FPA’s chief executive, said in the announcement.
