Meet the LUMINARIES Class of 2022 Finalists

Now in its second year, the recognition program spotlights firms and individuals who excel in four categories.

We are extremely pleased to present the LUMINARIES Class of 2022 Finalists, who are being recognized this year for the many dynamic and inclusive ways they are driving the wealth, investment and retirement industry forward.

An evolution of our Broker-Dealers of the Year awards, the LUMINARIES program is now in its second year. It aims to highlight how top-performing industry participants — both firms and individuals — produce meaningful results through efforts that matter most to advisors in Community Impact; Diversity, Equity & Inclusion; Executive Leadership; and Thought Leadership & Education.

“By sharing experiences and successes, we help each other,” said Tonia Bottoms, a LUMINARIES winner in 2021, managing director and senior managing counsel for BNY Mellon’s Pershing. By involving firms who may be in a different place in their journey, these awards “shed light by helping to elevate their views and understanding” about opportunity and change in the advice business and financial services overall, she explained.

The LUMINARIES Class of 2022 Finalists will be reviewed by a diverse panel of judges from across the advice industry, as well by our editorial team. Their stories will be told in print and online via features, interviews, podcasts and other coverage over the next few months. A select group of winners will be announced on stage at the program’s second awards dinner and gala — set to take place Nov. 17 in New York.
