OneAmerica Names a Retirement Services Executive: Personnel Moves

Dawson has been a top training executive at Morningstar.

OneAmerica — an Indianapolis-based life insurer — has hired Heather Dawson to be vice president for workplace solutions, at its retirement services business.

Dawson previously was a self-employed leadership trainer.

Earlier in her career, she was the global program lead for enterprise learning at Morningstar.

She also has worked in sales training and related fields at Principal Financial, Mercer and related companies.

She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.

OneAmerica has also hired Mike Stewart to be a regional vice president at its employee benefits business.

Stewart will oversee sales teams and account managers in a six-state region that includes Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Indianapolis and Kansas City.

He previously was a regional sales executive at Aflac, He also spent about 20 years at the Hartford.

He has a bachelor’s degree from St. Lawrence University in New York.

Prudential

PGIM — the investment arm of  Newark, New Jersey-based Prudential Financial — has hired Michael Miller to be the first head of a new Defined Contribution Solutions business.

The unit will help defined contribution plans offer lifetime income features.

Miller previously was head of retirement for the Americas at J.P. Morgan Asset Management.

He also has been a retirement plan services executive at Principal Financial and Ceridian.

He has a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University.

MetLife

MetLife has hired Siew Choo Soh and Giovanni Genovesi to be chief information officers.

Soh will be the CIO for Asia, and Genovesi will be the CIO for Latin America.

Soh previously worked for DBS Bank. She has a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from the National University of Singapore.

Genovesi moved to MetLife from Swiss Re. He has a bachelor’s degree from Bosphorus University in Istanbul, Turkey.
