OneAmerica has named Jeff Levin to be vice president distribution at its Care Solutions unit.
He was previously a divisional vice president with the Indianapolis-based insurer’s Care Solutions unit.
The unit sells annuities that offer long-term care benefits and life insurance policies that offer LTC benefits.
Levin is a board member of the Intercompany Long-Term Care Insurance Conference Association and a member of the Bank Insurance & Securities Association Steering Committee.
He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
OneAmerica has also promoted Kristin Dorm to vice president of agency growth and development at the individual life and financial services unit, from national director of recruiting and agent development.
The company has hired David Junker to be the individual life unit’s vice president of business development. Junker had been a vice president at RiverSource Distributors.
The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Co,, a Horsham, Pennsylvania-based life insurer, has named Mark Heppenstall president and chief investment officer of Penn Mutual Asset Management.
Keith Huckerby will be the president of the Penn Series Funds and chief operating officer of the asset management unit.
The unit has $33 billion in assets under management.
Heppenstall joined Penn Mutual in 2014. He has a bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt and a master’s degree in industrial administration from Carnegie Mellon. He holds the chartered financial analyst professional designation.
Huckerby has worked for the asset management unit for about 25 years.
