“Go after your natural market.” This usually means look at friends and family members as prospects. Some people want to keep business and family separate, but there are plenty of reasons to think the opposite way.

Family members want to see you succeed. They will beat the bushes for referrals. Suppose your father-in-law suggests to a gold club buddy they should do business with you.
