To help advisors best serve clients and manage their businesses during the coronavirus pandemic, Advicent is giving them free access to its NaviPlan financial-planning client portal through December 2021. This move includes existing advisor users and prospective users that buy NaviPlan in 2020.

The NaviPlan client portal includes account aggregation, electronic fact-finding and related technology.

“While advisors and their clients are subject to travel restrictions and shelter-in-place orders, the NaviPlan client portal can facilitate virtual meetings which are essential to protecting, and improving, clients’ financial futures,” said Advicent CEO Angela Pecoraro

Advicent’s technology is used by some 140,000 financial professionals with 3,000 firms worldwide, according to the firm.

The fintech firm helps advisors generate “millions of financial plans each year,” Pecoraro said, and believes “it is our responsibility to empower the wealth management industry … during heightened volatility and uncertainty.”

In addition, Advicent is giving U.S. advisors using NaviPlan free and unlimited access to its marketing materials, which it has compiled in an Advisor Briefcase.

There are some 500 pieces of content available, such as infographics and articles.

“The NaviPlan client portal, and our advisor marketing materials, mitigate the impact on advisory practices during these extraordinary times — and enable investors to fully understand, and act upon, their financial plans in concert with their trusted advisors,” the CEO added.
