Ameriprise Adds 3 Wells Fargo Advisors

Three advisors have left Wells Fargo behind to join Ameriprise Financial, with combined assets under management of $508 million.

Joining the employee channel are Alexander Timpson of Portland, Maine, who had approximately $232 million in AUM, and Brian Bratspis of Scottsdale, Arizona, bwho had approximately $151 million in AUM.

Timpson, whose new title is financial advisor and managing director, is accompanied by practice manager and registered client service associate Mary Holden, also from Wells Fargo. They’ve joined the existing team of the Adelphi Group, which also includes advisors Benjamin Henchel, Christopher Gagnon and Brendon Porter, along with support staff Joey Mayo and Asia Kelly.

Henchel is branch manager for Timpson, while Matthew Rea is branch manager for Bratspis.

Joining the franchise channel is John Pavelka of Davenport, Iowa, who had approximately $125 million in AUM. His new title is private wealth advisor, and he is accompanied by operations and insurance specialist Dawn Morris and marketing specialist Courtney O’Connor, also from Wells Fargo. Pavelka’s franchise field vice president is Brad Sabol.
