Private Client Group at Janney Adds 14 Advisors in Q3

During the third quarter, Janney Montgomery Scott LLC has added 41 professionals to its Private Client Group: 14 financial advisors and 27 account executives, private client associates and financial advisor associates. In addition, the firm opened a new office in Lewes, Delaware, as well as relocating its New York City office to midtown.

Four teams of financial advisors and five individual advisors, located in nine branches, are among the newcomers.

Michael Kernicky, executive vice president/wealth management; Michael J. Kernicky, VP/wealth management; and John Kernicky, financial advisor, make up the Kernicky Group in Media, Pennsylvania.

The MD Wealth Management Group in Franklin, Tennessee, is composed of Bradley Dickens, first VP/wealth management and Jason Minor, VP/wealth management.

William “Bill” Peck, first VP/wealth management leads Peck Wealth Management in Towson, Maryland.

Sammarco, Moore & Nice in Syracuse, New York, is composed of Samuel Sammarco, senior VP/wealth management, William “Bill” Moore, VP/wealth management and William “Bill” Nice, VP/wealth management.

Individual financial advisors joining are William Daniels, in Williamsport, Pennsylvania; Brian Enright, in Albany, New York; Thomas Gayer, in Naples, Florida; Glenn Ratcliffe, first VP/investments, assistant complex manager, Fairfield, Connecticut; and Robert Shealy Jr., senior VP/wealth management, in Columbia, South Carolina.

Together the new financial advisor arrivals advised on more than $1.1 billion in client assets.

As of September, Janney had over $85 billion in assets under advisement and has welcomed more than 120 new Private Client Group members, of whom more than 40 are financial advisors. The firm has also opened five new branch offices since the beginning of the year in Battle Creek, Michigan; Columbus, Ohio; Florence, South Carolina; Lewes, Delaware; and Riverhead, New York.
