Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan has replaced the head of its long-term care insurance unit with two executives.

Kevin Stutler is now the president and chief executive officer of LifeSecure Insurance Co.

Patrick Prichard is the Brighton, Michigan-based insurer’s chief operating officer.

Tiffany Albert, the previous president and CEO, took over as president and CEO of Blue Care Network, a Michigan Blue health maintenance organization subsidiary.

Stutler has been the vice president in charge of Michigan Blue’s enterprise ancillary business, which sells products such as dental insurance and vision insurance. Hewill continue to hold that title while running the long-term care insurance unit, LifeSecure says.

Prichard has been vice president of West Michigan and Upper Peninsula operations at Michigan Blue.

Stutler said in a statement that Albert helped LifeSecure reach new heights and strengthen its standing as a carrier.

“LifeSecure is focused on building on our success and expanding our role in delivering simple, yet innovative long-term care and other supplemental insurance solutions to families,” Stutler said in the statement.
