Benefits Alliances: Sedgwick CMS, RollOver Systems

UnitedHealth Group Inc. has agreed to work with Sedgwick Claims Management Services Inc. to help large employers link health care, disability, workers’ compensation and leave management programs.

UnitedHealth, Minnetonka, Minn., provides customer service and employee assistance programs along with health, wellness, dental, vision and life plans.

Sedgwick CMS, Memphis, Tenn., a unit of Fidelity National Financial Inc., Jacksonville, Fla., will provide absence management services, and administration of workers’ compensation and disability claims.

The companies will combine to supply on-site help with returning employees to work.

“Fully integrated, centrally located” customer teams will provide the services, according to UnitedHealth and Sedgwick CMS.

In other benefits alliance news, DailyAccess Corp., Mobile, Ala., a retirement services vendor, has agreed to offer retirement plan asset rollover assistance services from RolloverSystems Inc., Charlotte, N.C.
