The September issue of Investment Advisor contains coverage of our 2006 Broker/Dealer of the Year winners. In preparing that cover story, Editor-in-Chief Jamie Green and the IA editorial staff conducted a freewheeling, roundtable interview with the top executives of the winning companies in all four divisions: Brian Murphy, president and CEO of Woodbury Financial; Ralph DeVito, president of The Investment Center; Gordon D’Angelo, chairman, president, and CEO of the holding company of NEXT Financial; and Scott Yamamura, group president of Contemporary Financial Solutions.

Excerpts from that roundtable have been distilled down to a 15-minute Podcast that allows listeners to hear the B/D of the Year winners address and discuss some of the challenges and opportunities facing independent B/Ds, in their own words.
