A large financial services company is offering the reps affiliated with its U.S. broker-dealers a new support system.[@@]

The company, ING Groep N.V., Amsterdam, has launched the ING SmartWorks system, a system that stores customer information, generates commission reports, supplies stock market and mutual fund data, and helps with tasks such as drawing up financial plans and tracking contacts.

Each of the modules within the system shares sign-on information and client records, ING says.

The integration means that reps can jump from client information in one module to client information in a second module, ING says.

ING says it is starting by offering the system to reps affiliated with its Financial Network Investment Corp., ING Financial Partners and Multi-Financial Securities Corp. units.
