March 3, 2005 — PowerShares Capital Management said that seven of its new exchange-traded funds (ETFs) began trading today on the American Stock Exchange.

The seven ETFs include the PowerShares WilderHill Clean Energy Portfolio (PBW), which invests in companies of the WilderHill Clean Energy Index. The other six new ETFs, the PowerShares Dynamic Style Portfolios, are based on indices jointly created by PowerShares Capital Management and the American Stock Exchange.

With the addition of these seven ETFs, PowerShares now operates a total of 11 ETF products.
