Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, Minneapolis, has produced a customizable television commercial for its financial representatives.[@@]

The company is offering its 2,500 reps a menu of 6 different versions of the 30-second spot. Reps can choose between having a male narrator and a female narrator, and they can choose from 3 levels of customization.

A rep with a tight budget can use a basic spot that features a still photo of the agent at the end.

A rep who can afford a professional television production crew can add video shots. The high-end ad can show the agent talking to clients, appearing at a well-known community location and appearing at a Lutheran church.

Although reps need to hire local crews to shoot the video, Thrivent’s own editors will edit the footage into the final ads, Thrivent says.

Thrivent is a nonprofit fraternal benefit society that serves 3 million Lutheran consumers.
