Perot To Market CareGain Account Technology

NU Online News Service, May 5, 2004, 1:22 p.m. EDT – Perot Systems Corp., Plano, Texas, has agreed to market personal health account management technology from CareGain Inc., Monroe Township, N.J.[@@]

Perot will be bundling the CareGain DefinedCare system with its Diamond Enterprise Solutions health benefits administration system. Perot sells the system to insurers, managed care companies and independent benefits administrators.

CareGain designed its DefinedCare system for employers that want to build flexible savings accounts, health reimbursement arrangements, health savings accounts and other personal accounts into their benefits packages. The system helps plan administrators keep track of the accounts and link the accounts to pharmacies, pharmacy benefit managers and claim adjudicators.
