FRANKFURT, Germany (HedgeWorld.com)–Wermuth Asset Management GmbH hired Lauren Damask as managing director of business development and opened its Greater Europe Fund Ltd. to outside investors.
Ms. Damask previously was a vice president at Zurich Capital Markets, which has been sold off in parts by its parent company, Zurich Financial Services, Zurich, Switzerland . She couldn’t be reached for comment.
Wermuth also opened the Greater Europe Fund Ltd. to new investment up to US$100 million. The fund uses a global macro approach centered in Europe, including Eastern European countries. The firm has an office in Moscow headed by Dmitry Malykhin and was founded by Jochen Wermuth, who has worked in Moscow.
