Turner Reopening Small-Cap Growth Fund

June 17, 2003 — The Turner Funds Small-Cap Growth (TSCEX) will reopen to new investors on Monday after being closed for nearly six years.

The $171.2-million fund, which stopped accepting new accounts in August 1997, returned 19.9% this year through May, while its small-cap growth fund peer group was up 14.1%.

Turner Small-Cap Growth eked out an average annualized gain of 0.7% for the five years ended last month, versus a 0.4% loss by its peers.
