Hartford Hires Advertising VP

NU Online News Service, Jan. 24, 10:34 a.m. – Hartford Financial Services Group Inc., Hartford, has hired Michael Johnson to be a vice president in corporate relations.

Johnson, who will handle brand promotion and advertising, previously was general manager of the Miller-Foster U.S. joint venture at Miller Brewing Company, Milwaukee. Johnson has also worked in account management at two large advertising agencies. He holds a bachelor’s degree from St. Louis University.

Johnson succeeds Ann Glover, who recently became Hartford’s group senior vice president for corporate relations.
