Northwestern Can Sell LTC Policy In New York

NU Online News Service, Oct. 2, 12:03 p.m. – Northwestern Long Term Care Insurance, a unit of Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company, Milwaukee, has received permission to sell the QuietCare RS long-term care insurance policy in New York.

The policy, which qualifies both for federal and state tax incentives, pays for home care and community-based “alternative living” care as well as nursing home care.

Northwestern sells the policy through agents in its Northwestern Mutual Financial Network system.
