ClarkBardes Acquires Lobbying Firm

NU Online News Service, Feb. 26, 1:15 p.m. – Clark/Bardes Inc., North Barrington, Ill., a publicly traded benefits and compensation consulting firm, has acquired the federal lobbying practice from the Washington office of PricewaterhouseCoopers.

The head of the practice has been Ken Kies, who served on Capitol Hill as chief of staff to the Joint Committee on Taxation from 1994 to 1998.

The lobbying unit will now operate as a practice of Clark/Bardes, Clark/Bardes says.
