Fidelity Customers Report Login Trouble

Fidelity acknowledged the problem and offered troubleshooting steps.

Fidelity Investments acknowledged Tuesday that some customers were having trouble accessing their accounts online.

“Thank you for reaching out. We have some clients experiencing this issue. We have some troubleshooting steps you can try,” the company posted on X, formerly Twitter, shortly after noon Eastern Daylight Time, responding to a customer who couldn’t get into any of their accounts.

A short time later the same customer followed up, posting they were able to login to their Fidelity accounts.

Outage monitoring site Downdetector indicated it had received about 50 problem reports on Fidelity around 1 p.m., with most related to login trouble.
