A big health insurance distributor is trying to help agents cope with the new federal Medicare Advantage program lead-generation rules by adding a health insurance lead supplier.

AmeriLife said it will offer Medicare Advantage plan and Medicare Part D prescription drug plan leads from RGI Solutions. The leads will comply with federal regulations, and RGI will test the leads to verify that they’re good, AmeriLife said.

RGI can provide direct mail leads. It can also take telephone calls from customers and transfer the call to agents.

AmeriLife is a Clearwater, Florida-based company with relationships with about 300,000 agents and advisors. It set up its LeadStar life insurance and health insurance leads program for affiliated agents in October 2022.

RGI is a Marietta, Georgia-based company that generates both direct mail leads and digital leads.

RGI will add a LeadStar Direct section to the existing LeadStar platform, AmeriLife said. In addition to providing Medicare plan leads, the section will provide final expense arrangement leads.
