Prudential Ad Campaign Focuses on Cautious Optimism

The company is using the question “Now What?” to represent a mix of hope and worry.

Prudential recently launched an ad campaign with a theme based on the question “Now What?”

The first television ad in the campaign shows people celebrating and then wondering what they should do next.

Prudential created the campaign as the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic eased but consumer concerns about the state of the economy increased.

The Newark, New Jersey-based life, annuity and asset management company says research shows that hope can help consumers take action to prepare for the future.

“If you seize those moments, you can take your financial future to the next level,” Susan Somersille Johnson, the company’s chief marketing officer, said.

McCann, an ad agency, produced the ads.
