Mutual of America Names a Human Resources Chief: Personnel Moves
She moved to the company from American Express.
Mutual of America Financial Group has picked Tara Favors to be an executive vice president and chief human resources officer.
The New York-based annuity issuer has about 1,100 employees.
Favors will oversee hiring as well as employee compensation, benefits, training, and diversity, equity and inclusion.
Favors was previously vice president of human resources for the global merchant and network services business at American Express.
Earlier in her career, she worked in human resources at Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank.
She has a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University and a master’s degree in human resources from The New School University.

The Standard
The Standard has hired Jack Woolnough to be a regional sales director for the central region of its retirement plans division. He is based in Denver.
Woolnough was previously a sales executive at ADP.
He has a bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University.
Minnesota Blue
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota — an Eagan, Minnesota-based division of Stella — has named Dana Erickson to be Minnesota Blue’s next president and CEO.
Erickson will succeed Kathleen Blatz, who has been serving as the interim CEO since April. The previous permanent CEO, Craig Samitt, retired.
Erickson has been a senior vice president at the company. She began working for Minnesota Blue in 2015 as senior director of care management. Earlier in her career, she worked for Univita Health, Optum Health and a public health agency in Anoka County, Minnesota.
She is a registered nurse and a registered respiratory therapist.
She has a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
AmeriHealth Caritas
AmeriHealth Caritas, a Philadelphia-based health insurers that covers people in Medicaid and other government health programs, has named Rebecca Engelman to be executive vice president for Medicaid markets.
Engelman has been a regional president at the company.
Earlier, she helped found Select Health of South Carolina and served as an executive there. She has also worked as a nurse in medical-surgical units and in emergency rooms.
She has a master’s degree in nursing administration from the Medical University of South Carolina.
Lincoln Financial
Lincoln Financial has promoted Shantanu Mishra to corporate treasurer, from assistant treasurer.
Mishra has been working for the Radnor, Pennsylvania-based life insurer since 2010.
Earlier, he worked for Ameriprise Financial Services and American Express.
He has a bachelor’s degree from Delhi University and a master’s degree in business from the Indian Institute of Management. He holds the chartered financial analyst professional designation.
