Protective Life Hires Sales Executive: Personnel Moves

LL Global has added a marketing executive, and Zipari continues to bulk up its leadership.

Birmingham, Alabama-based Protective Life Corp. has hired Lauren Drapeau to be the national sales director of annuity advisory solutions.

Drapeau previously spent four years as a business development officer at Genworth Financial. She also has worked for MassMutual, MetLife and Cetera.

She has a bachelor’s degree from Boston College and a master’s degree in business from the University of Hartford.

LL Global — the Windsor, Connecticut-based parent of LIMRA, LOMA and the Secure Retirement Institute — has hired Tina Beckwith to be chief marketing officer.

Beckwith previously was senior vice president of marketing and communications for Beacon Health Options, an arm of Anthem. She also has worked for MetLife and Aetna.

She has a bachelor’s degree from Central Connecticut State and a master’s degree in business from the University of Hartford.

Zipari

Zipari — a Brooklyn, New York-based health insurance customer experience platform company — has hired Shawn Kearl to be chief revenue officer and Richard Juknavorian to be chief product officer.

Kearl previously was head of sales at TriZetto Healthcare NNL, an arm of Cognizant. He also has worked as a vice president for payer solution sales at Optum.

Juknavorian was the chief producer officer at HealthcareSource, a health-care sector staffing firm. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut.
