U.S. Bank Names New Head of Private Wealth

Veteran wirehouse executive Beth Lawlor comes to the unit with more than 20 years of industry experience.

Veteran wirehouse executive Beth Lawlor is now head of  U.S. Bank’s Private Wealth Management unit.  

Lawlor has more than 20 years of industry experience and most recently worked at UBS as head of National Field Engagement and Sales for its Wealth Management Banking business (2016-2018). 

Prior to that role, she held leadership roles at Merrill Lynch (2013-2016), Morgan Stanley (2010-2013), Wells Fargo Advisors (2008-2010) and Smith Barney (2005-2008). 

“Beth is exceedingly client-focused and driven by leading a sales organization,” said Mark Jordahl, U.S. Bank Wealth Management president, in a statement. “She’s a terrific cultural fit for the bank.” 

U.S. Bancorp, the parent company of U.S. Bank, is based in Minneapolis and has about 70,000 employees and assets of $543 billion asof March 31, 2020. It overall Wealth Management business, which includes Private Wealth, has $180 billion of total client assets.
