Two veteran Merrill Lynch advisors managing $135 million of client assets have moved to the independent advisor space by partnering with recently formed RIA TruClarity Wealth Advisors.

The advisor group includes Danny Allizadeh and Cary Marger and will now operate as Position Wealth, which is based near Houston.

Allizadeh started out in financial services in 1999 and joined Merrill in 2010. Marger did a brief stint with AXA Advisors in 2010 and then moved to Merrill Lynch, according to FINRA’s BrokerCheck.

“Our strategic partner, TruClarity Wealth Advisors, has been successful in providing us access to an expanded range of investment options and operational support, which will enable us to maintain client focus and to provide a platform for other financial advisors looking to provide the same to their clients,” Marger said in a statement.

“We are excited to partner with Position Wealth and have them launch their team of independent advisors as part of the TruClarity Wealth Advisors network,” according to TruClarity Wealth Advisors President Pam Stross. “Now they will be able to build their own brand and client book, as they embark on their independent journey.”
