The Financial Planning Association revamped its FPA Job Board to help financial planners explore financial planning career opportunities and easily connect with employers.

The FPA Job Board allows job seekers to showcase their skills and work experience to prospective employers and provides employers access to a qualified talent pool to fill open positions. Employer and recruiter benefits include posting internships and jobs, managing applications, searching resumes, creating resume alerts, and viewing reports and statistics.

“FPA desires to support the next generation of financial planners throughout their career paths,” Lauren Schadle, FPA executive director and CEO, said in a statement. “By redesigning and re-engineering the FPA Job Board, the next generation — and other potential job seekers — will connect with those employers looking to onboard new, dynamic talent.

In partnership with the Financial Job Exchange, the new FPA Job Board aims to provide the most relevant jobs for candidates and the highest return on investment for employers. The Financial Job Exchange is a network of local and national online association career centers in banking, finance, accounting and insurance. Partnering with the Financial Job Exchange expands the FPA Job Board’s reach and delivers broader exposure for its members.

The FPA’s revamped job board improved the design and navigation of the prior platform to help job seekers and employers more easily connect.

The redesign also provides job seekers with access to additional paid resources including resume writing, reference checking and career coaching. It also provides employers with new resources to get in front of job candidates, including branding solutions and job posting videos.

The new job board also has an integration with Google’s new job search feature to help job seekers identify new career opportunities. What this means is that jobs posted to FPA Job Board are automatically searchable through Google’s job search engine “Google for Jobs.”

Currently, more than 9,600 searchable resumes have been posted on the new FPA Job Board. Interested financial planners and employers can access the updated FPA Job Board now.
