This week in personnel announcements and new hires, Vanguard added Pzena Investment Management to one of its fund advisory teams and Convergent Wealth Advisors added Maurice Curran.
Also, the Securities and Excnage Commission named Rebecca Olsen and Jessica Kane to new roles in the agency’s Office of Municipal Securities; Pensionmark Retirement Group welcomed Erik Swenson as president of RPS Pensionmark, a partnering of Pensionmark with Retirement Plan Solutions; and Christian Brothers Investment Services has named John Geissinger as its new CIO.
Pzena Joins Advisory Team at Vanguard Fund
Vanguard has announced that Pzena Investment Management has become the third member of the management team for the Vanguard Selected Value Fund. Rich Pzena, Pzena’s chief executive officer and co-chief investment officer, will serve with Manoj Tandon and Eli Rabinowich as portfolio managers.
The addition of Pzena is not expected to materially change the fund’s character. Pzena already provides investment advisory services to three other Vanguard funds.
Convergent Wealth Advisors Welcomes Maurice Curran
Convergent Wealth Advisors announced that it has hired Maurice “Mo” Curran as director in its Manhattan office. In this role, he will focus on building and fostering relationships, as well as actively engaging and supporting referral networks in the development of high-net-worth clients.
Curran’s previous business development experience includes positions at Gerson Lehrman Group and Credit Suisse Asset Management.
